I am thrilled with the photos taken by James of Hanalei Family Photo! The best part was- my family actually had fun taking them! I researched several photographers prior to finding James and I was very impressed with the quality of the photos on his website but also really liked his laid back personality when I first spoke with him on the phone. His goal was to photograph exactly what we wanted (location, time of day/lighting, groups, individual shots) and he succeeded. Our photos are amazing! James captured the magical light of Hanalei Bay at golden hour/sunset and I loved the great suggestions for more fun/candid poses mixed in with traditional ones. Highly recommend!!!

James took our family photos during our recent trip to Kauai. He was so patient with my 3 young kiddos who were kind of going crazy because of adjusting to the time change 🫠 and the photos he got are better than I could have hoped for.
